GIPA to NSW Police re drug dogs statistics

GIPA request to the NSW Police Force for comprehensive statistics about the operation of the NSW drug dog program including the number of people searched under the program by Local Area Command, the number of times during those searches that drugs were found, or not found.

We also asked about the number of times following these interactions where people were charged with offences relating to their interaction with police and how many of those found with drugs were successfully prosecuted for drug offences.

The data was provided in PDF format and has been input into an excel spreadsheet here to make it easier to analyse.
